We love kids! We love watching them grow and form new friendships. We love listening to all the hilarious things they say, especially when they think we’re not listening. We love the look of amazement on their faces when they learn a new amazing fact, and we’re excited to spend each day with them as they learn about the world.
Play-Based Learning
Exciting play-based activities to keep our little monsters happy and engaged
Children learn best by playing. Whether it’s becoming more familiar the laws of physics by watching their tower crumble to the ground, learning how to make friends by playing a game of hide-and-seek, or practicing their engineering skills by building a castle out of LEGO. Our classroom is full of easily accessible manipulatives, puzzles, toys, books, play furniture, and much more to keep your little monster excited and engaged during our free play sessions.
Kindergarten Prep
Reading, Writing & Counting
We dedicate one hour each class to structured learning time. Our group learning approach will have your little monster well prepared for kindergarten by familiarizing them with letters and numbers, geometry, the calendar, basic science and engineering concepts, music, and a wonderful mix of celebrations and world cultures.
Healthy Snacks
Fresh fruits, vegetables, grains & dairy without any nuts, meat, or eggs
We offer fresh fruits, vegetables, grains and dairy every class. We keep a very close eye on allergies and our student’s personal preferences. We want our little monsters to be both happy and healthy, and our snack menu will provide them with the necessary fuel to keep on stomping!
Socialization
Learning how to play in group settings
There are plenty of opportunities to make new friends at Little Monsters Academy! Our inclusive classroom environment fosters a sense of belonging, and encourages children to interact, collaborate, and build meaningful relationships. Through engaging group activities, our little monsters learn essential social skills like sharing, taking turns, empathy, and effective communication.
Outdoor Play & Exercise
Inspiring curiosity and promoting a respect for nature
We spend one hour each day in Memorial South Park, which offers over 30 acres of green space in a safe and friendly neighborhood, providing ample opportunities for our little monsters to get better aquainted with nature.
